Riad Verus - Fes

I can't believe this place has the audacity to call itself a hotel. The bathroom smelled awful and the staff forgot my breakfast request, as if i'm not worthy of a simple meal at the right time. I expected a complimentary gesture to apologize for the disaster but was met with silence instead. I almost wrote a good review but just couldn't.

Beautiful hotel, it has amazing restaurant and marvellous location in the market area. The staff are super and absolutely amazing and I really enjoyed their attitude. The rooms are beautiful and warm and have magnificent views on the town.

It was incredible, comfortable and with good beds. The staff were awesome and wonderful all the time.

The rooftop lounge offers a fine view and is perfect for evening relaxation. Don't miss out on mingling with fellow travelers there.

Booked a room with great views on the town. The bed was extremely comfy and I had an own bathroom. Its location was very central, feet from Batha.

Had a FANTASTIC stay for two nights, glad I've chosen it. The hotel's location was very central, in the heart of the medina. Spent a nice evening at Blue Sky Restaurant, located right next to the venue.

Vibrant atmosphere and lovely meals

I loved the communal dinner. It was a great way to connect with fellow travelers while enjoying a delicious meal. The rooms were well-kept, and I appreciated the rooftop terrace where I could relax and unwind. One thing to note is that breakfast starts a bit late, which may not suit those eager to start their day early.

I loved starting my mornings with a delightful breakfast spread, which included granola and fresh fruit, while enjoying the cozy rooftop lounging area. The place also offered a lovely sun terrace and a relaxing garden area for some chill time. The only downside was that breakfast took a little longer than expected, but it was a nice pace to unwind. Make sure to try the pancakes—they were fantastic! ☀️

The comfortable beds and the great breakfasts were definite highlights of the stay. I particularly enjoyed the well-maintained rooftop terrace where relaxing was easy. The noise from the common areas was disruptive, and the cleanliness could improve, particularly in the shared showers. Staff interaction left room for improvement, as some conversations felt uncomfortable at times.

The riad's vibrant atmosphere really stood out, and our kids loved the colorful decor! The staff was friendly was nice, and we enjoyed relaxing on the roof terrace while soaking in the fine views of Fes.

For dads, it would be great to have a kids' play area.

Recommend it for solo travelers

They welcomed me with this amazing fresh juice and I sat on this beautiful terrace that hit like paradise. Breakfast was insane, eggs, bread, cheese, all while chillin' with this friendly kitten and a turtle roaming around!

It wasn't cheap, but still reasonable for what you get.

The downstairs and upstairs lounges were stunningly authentic and comfortable. Breakfast was great with a good variety, and I appreciated the free mint tea and delicious virgin mojitos. The staff was friendly, always ready to assist and ensure I had a great experience.

The prices were slightly on the higher side for my taste.

Awesome place with amenities like free wi-fi, a lovely lounge area, and 24-hour security. On my first stay, staff helped me with restaurant directions. Trust me, you'll love the friendly atmosphere. I'm coming back for a city break!

It was a strong match for exploring town in Fes with reasonable value. The breakfast was really filling, offering a good variety. Make sure to check the exact route for getting there if you drive.
